Join three amazing Illinois Fiber Designers: Laura Krzak, Jen Lucas, the amazing Franklin Habit, & our hosts with the most: The Yarn Guys  and Wall of Yarn for a marathon of fun. We will be collecting Halos(Chemo Hats) and Donations for Halos of Hope.

It will be a weekend action packed with as much or as little fun as you’d like:

Friday July 21st Events

6 pm  Hope-a-thon begins at Wall of Yarn. Free to the public, any donations for Halos of Hope will be graciously accepted.

7 pm At the Wagner House – Franklin Habit Lecture Impractical Magic: Oddities and Curiosities of Weldon’s Practical Needlework. Free to the public, any donations for Halos of Hope will be graciously accepted.

8 pm to 12 am  At Wall of Yarn – Hat making and late night fun. Free to the public, any donations for Halos of Hope will be graciously accepted.

Saturday July 22nd Events

12 am to 6 am At Wall of Yarn – Hat making, raffles, contests and more late night fun. Free to the public, any donations for Halos of Hope will be graciously accepted.

6 am to 6 pm – At Wall of Yarn – Hat making , demos and day time fun. Free to the public, any donations for Halos of Hope will be graciously accepted.

9 am – 12 pm At the Wagner House -Class: Introduction to the History, Methods, and Styles of Lace Knitting with Franklin Habit, registration required, call Wall of Yarn  at (815) 616-8402 to register

2 pm – 5 pm At the Wagner House -Class:Working With Antique And Vintage Knitting  Patterns with Franklin Habit, registration required, call Wall of Yarn at (815) 616-8402 to register
